Where are you located?
I am located on
the Gulf Coast of Florida. I specialize in
male model portfolio shoots; however, I also work with female clients. Please
feel free to e-mail me if you should find yourself traveling to the
Sunshine State and are interested in some portfolio photography work, as
this tends to be the most convenient method of collaborating on any
given project. I use my experience as a photographer and artist to bring
out the best from each individual with which I work. Being a model goes
beyond having a beautiful face, you have to perform and show different
personalities, as well as attitudes, no matter what you are wearing or
portraying for a client.
How long does
this take?
I usually schedule two days for an out of state model, with the
individual arriving Friday afternoon and leaving either late Sunday
evening or early Monday morning; however, weekday shoots can be arranged
with ample notice. A shoot typically lasts a few hours, and that leaves
us an extra day in case one of us is not at the top of our game. Most
models end up using the extra time to enjoy the beach or enjoy the
nightlife that the Tampa Bay area has to offer.
Not
in my area? Cannot afford a flight?
Arrangements can be made for a special trip to your area if you cannot travel but would
still be interested in working together. I work with models from all
over the country, so if you live elsewhere, please do not let that stop
you from submitting your interest in a shoot. From time to time Gabriel
Nieves Photography awards photo scholarships to potential female or male
models that have promise and a look suitable for fine art prints,
photographer portfolio development, and/or photographer promotional
advertising. Models on scholarship, or time-for-prints (TFP),
should expect to receive images in high-resolution digital format.
How do you become a model?
To be
considered, you must:

Be at least 18
years of age;

Have a
defined, athletic or lean build;

Be willing to
travel to the Tampa Bay area, or another agreed upon location;

Be punctual to
your appointments, with 48 hour advanced cancellation notification;

What's the next
step?
Contact Gabriel Nieves Photography and submit your name, date of birth,
stats, head & body shots attached (snap-shots will suffice) for
review. Body shots do NOT need to be nudes; ideally you should be in
fitted underwear, such as briefs or boxer briefs, showing shoulder to
knee, front and rear.
